A private forwarding alias is designed to receive selected confirmations, not browse your correspondence. Inbound processing remains provider-adapted and can be disabled independently.

Use a private inbox without connecting your whole mailbox
Forward only selected purchase confirmations through a dedicated address when inbound email is enabled.
NeedPace does not need Gmail or Outlook OAuth for the MVP. Manual quick add and document upload work independently, so a mailbox connection is never a prerequisite.
Graceful fallback
When inbound email is unavailable, nothing requires administrator intervention: use quick add or upload the chosen receipt. Failed extraction becomes a confirmation flow rather than losing the source.
Current production status
Private inbound email forwarding is not yet enabled on the production service. Manual quick add and receipt/document upload are the active MVP inputs today. This status is stated explicitly to avoid promising an unavailable integration.
